Intarsia - the experience of merging Nature's beauty with human ingenuity; finding the perfect combination of woods to express an object or a moment in time; a three- dimensional perspective of the world using natural colored and varied woods; painting with wood.

For Media Console5.0This is my second project with Mike and the results were just as good the second time around. Mike is professional, timely, and skilled. The media console was a challenging design especially when it came to the mechanics of the hinge systems. Knowing Mike is an excellent woodworker I was confident that he could take on the added challenge and he did not disappoint. For Custom Knife Block5.0A previous homeowner left a large hole in the granite countertops in our kitchen. I decided to fill it with a custom knife block from Woodworking Plus. Mike did a fantastic job from start to finish. It was easy to develop the custom design I needed in collaboration with him. I sent him photos of the knives and the hole in my counter along with a few dimensions. He created a drawing of the final product which I modified slightly. He then kept me informed of his progress with updates and photos. The final product looks better than I could have imagined with an outstanding finish. The block fits perfectly into the hole and the knives all fit like a glove. The project was a great value considering all the work that went into it.

For Custom Knife Block4.8Mike made a custom knife block for us because we could not find one that would hold all of our knives including a butcher's knife. The piece is gorgeous -- zebrawood and cherry with plenty of space for our knife collection. He was a great communicator and sent us a drawing of what our knife block would look like, plus photos of the progress along the way. Would definitely work with this seller again!
