Instead of using dictionary definitions of Intarsia, we would like to create our own.
Intarsia - the experience of merging Nature's beauty with human ingenuity; finding the perfect combination of woods to express an object or a moment in time; a three- dimensional perspective of the world using natural colored and varied woods; painting with wood.
Mike can create a custom Intarsia Keepsake/Jewelry Box, Pet Urn or Framed Intarsia Wall Hanging from any photo or picture. All of our patterns are hand drawn and all pieces are hand-crafted with pride using only the finest materials.

For Custom Wood Estate Sign5.0I found Custom Made completely by accident while looking for sign makers and came across your amazing website…. From the moment I exchanged e-mails with Mike I knew I had selected the right man for the job. His workmanship is beyond what I expected. He sent me photos from the wood he selected, the making of the letters to the sign assembled. The sign arrived right on time and in perfect condition. For I brought an old piece of a church sanctuary that is handmade beautiful wood and is about 4 foot long and reads "Do This in Remembrance of Me" with a cross at each end. It needs some of the letters fixed and to be refinished.5.0Mike Mathieu is a very gifted craftsman. He is as creative as he is talented and one of the nicest people I have ever met as well. We were delighted with the piece that Mike did for us and have every intention of working with him again in the near future.

For Beer Tap5.0The beer tap was an anniversary gift for my husband. He loved loved loved it! Mike did a wonderful job and went above and beyond to get the detail of my design implemented! I was a bit leery paying up front, but I understood.. as it was a custom item. Mike was very good about sending progress pictures and communicating as the project went along, which eased my worries. Mike also made sure it got to me on time. The workmanship was perfect and the process went without a hitch! I would definitely hire and recommend Mike again!
