Intarsia - the experience of merging Nature's beauty with human ingenuity; finding the perfect combination of woods to express an object or a moment in time; a three- dimensional perspective of the world using natural colored and varied woods; painting with wood.

Mike can create a custom Intarsia Keepsake/Jewelry Box, Pet Urn or Framed Intarsia Wall Hanging from any photo or picture. All of our patterns are hand drawn and all pieces are hand-crafted with pride using only the finest materials.

    For I brought an old piece of a church sanctuary that is handmade beautiful wood and is about 4 foot long and reads "Do This in Remembrance of Me" with a cross at each end. It needs some of the letters fixed and to be refinished.

    The beer tap was an anniversary gift for my husband. He loved loved loved it! Mike did a wonderful job and went above and beyond to get the detail of my design implemented! I was a bit leery paying up front, but I understood.. as it was a custom item. Mike was very good about sending progress pictures and communicating as the project went along, which eased my worries. Mike also made sure it got to me on time. The workmanship was perfect and the process went without a hitch! I would definitely hire and recommend Mike again! It was a fun experience hiring a true craftsman to create your own brain child!!! Thank You Mike!!

    This was all around a 5 star experience. Woodworking plus kept me advised at all times of what was going on, asked for input whenever he believed I could contribute, and shipped me a perfect product (beautifully packaged I might add!) in even less time than he originally estimated. And I can tell you after shopping around, I know the price I paid was extremely fair and good - particularly for something custom made to order. I love my end result shown in the pictures below (it's the pedestal that the round piece is sitting on). I highly recommend Woodworking plus!
