The head of the walking stick is made from walnut and the Intarsia consists of 46 pieces made from 6 different naturally colored woods. The maple shaft is 59" long and uses a cue stick joint to allow the stick to be broken down into 2 sections. Includes Custom Carrying Bag to protect it when being transported. Total length is 65".

Intarsia - the experience of merging Nature's beauty with human ingenuity; finding the perfect combination of woods to express an object or a moment in time; a three- dimensional perspective of the world using natural colored and varied woods; painting with wood.

Mike can create a custom Intarsia Keepsake/Jewelry Box, Pet Urn or Framed Intarsia Wall Hanging from any photo or picture. All of our patterns are hand drawn and all pieces are hand-crafted with pride using only the finest materials.

The media console was a challenging design especially when it came to the mechanics of the hinge systems.     I saw Mike's intarsia work on CustomMade and I knew right away that this was the perfect container for my beloved dog's ashes. I sent a photo of her, and we had a couple messages back and forth, and the end result is a beautiful box made from 9 different woods, with a perfect likeness of Isis on the front! Mike's a pro. He does great work!
