Shadow Boxes For Various Purposes

Patrick is very personable, and he built a shadow box almost to our specifications. But the quality is no better than something I could have built myself. The frame on the front is narrower than the side walls, so the unfinished wood of the side walls shows when looking through the glass at the interior of the box. The dark finish on the rest of the box is poor at best, as is the overall workmanship. The interior of the back was to have been padded and covered with felt, but there is no padding. The cost of $133 including shipping is exorbitant given the poor quality of the finished product. When he sent the last video, I could tell then that the quality was not as I had expected. I waited until we had received it to make my final judgment. I emailed him on Saturday evening on his private email, hoping that I would hear from him regarding a remedy or an acknowledgement. I have not heard so I decided to go ahead and rate the product. I told him that he must be very new at woodworking, and I also urged him to learn to be more meticulous in his work.
