I brought back a little Koa wood from Kauai last winter (pre-Covid), and I decided to try pairing it with a nice piece of walnut. Here is the result. The bowl is about 5 inches in diameter, and 2.5 inches tall. The bowl is walnut with a Koa rim, and the interior is decorated with oak vines and koa grapes, inlaid in three layers. The foot is covered with soft leather. The finish is MInwax satin poly.

For christine's Picture FrameMy friend's father just passed away, he was a hobby farmer and an avid skier, so I wanted a frame made of barnwood with mini skis to give to her. John transformed my vague idea into something more wonderful than I had imagined, my friend cried when she saw it. Pictures don't do justice to the frame. Great communication, he verified what I wanted and checked with me each step of the way. Received the picture frame way ahead of schedule. Amazing seller. Thank you so much!
