Tenor Ukulele Of Walnut And Western Redcedar

Tenor Ukulele Of Walnut And Western Redcedar

$1,500

This tenor uke combines an Oregon black walnut body, western redcedar top, and hand-split spruce bracing fastened with hide glue for a warm, responsive, and articulate sound. The neck of curly bigleaf maple and ebony with a koa center stripe is comfortable and shimmery, and rosewood accents grace the headstock, rosette, and heel graft. Grover tuners provide very precise tuning. The top is french polished and the body is finished with a light oil varnish that gives a satin appearance. The bridge and nut are of bone.

Update 2019: Unfortunately my wife is fighting lung cancer and I am not currently accepting furniture commissions.

Design that fits you to a "T", sensitive use of lovely wood, techniques that stand the test of time, touchable surfaces and layers of detail--I strive to bring these together with your needs and wishes, wrapping it all in an enjoyable process and a trail of photos.
