The Floating World dining table has ebonized walnut spindles and battens that raise the top of the base so the top appears to float above the base. The top is two pieces that are held together by three dovetailed butterfly joints.

He made numerous suggestions that were very helpful, including making the design a bit wider so it looked more proportional and using Wenge accent pieces. He used (at my request) only traditional joinery -- which is no small ask and requires a lot of skill and a lot of patience. The finished product is really fantastic. He also hand delivered the nigh stands from Pennsylvania to Boston! Overall a great value and a great experience. I'll definitely be looking to use Kevin for a future project.
