The new kitchen island is near-perfect, and really shows great craftsmanship. Kevin completed the project on time, in line with his original estimated timeline. He worked with my designer to flesh out the details of the project, which included a schematic diagram and a few changes here and there.

He personally delivered the project to my apartment and completed assembly of the major parts there, including hardware I had purchased separately. There were a couple of small nicks in the last mile of the delivery, as can be difficult to avoid when transporting big, unwieldy pieces. Upon noticing them, Kevin immediately offered to come back and patch them up.

I am very pleased with the way the island has turned out. It was a pleasure to work with Kevin, and I'd definitely do so again.

The project turned out beyond all expectations. Kevin is exceedingly knowledgeable in his craft, to include matching wood grain, finishes/staining, and jointing. His shop is well equipped and stocked to execute a vast variety of projects per customer's wishes. Kevin communicates promptly and particularly, resolving any questions or concerns a client has throughout the life of the project. With my project in particular, some life issues had risen that delayed the project; likewise, the budget was somewhat higher than I anticipated or was hoping to spend. Nevertheless, I would readily do business with Kevin again, and would strongly recommend Kevin for modern, contemporary, well-crafted furniture and home decor - pieces that would bring life and class to your residence, and would last for many years.

I am thrilled with the credenza that Kevin built for me. It is absolutely beautiful, and delivered exactly as promised. I'd recommend him in a heart beat.

This was a perfect transaction and I’m so happy with the final results! Kevin made sure he completely understood what I was looking for and sent accurate renderings before building. The craftsmanship is incredible and it is obvious this was not a generic, store-bought piece. I Recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and a friendly craftsman.

We contracted with Kevin to make a dining room table and six chairs for us. We showed him a picture of what we wanted in a somewhat scaled-down version. It had some complexity but he was eager to do it. We were excited about the project but, quite honestly, were somewhat disappointed with the result.

Positives: Kevin is a very good guy. He is honest and wants to do the right thing. He made some creative suggestions about adjusting the design, and we liked and agreed to them. It is evident that he is a skilled craftsman.

Negatives: The project was frustratingly and, in our judgment, inexcusably late. Delivery was to be made in four months. The table took six months, the chairs seven. Kevin had some technical difficulty with the chairs, and we agreed to a design adjustment that would eliminate the difficulty. The unfortunate result is that the chairs are too deep and we will need lumbar pillows to make them more comfortable. He also had some difficulty getting the stain right, with the result that the silver table and chairs we wanted are actually rather blond.

Overall assessment: The table and chairs are well made and look nice, but they aren't what we envisioned. I'm not quite sure what went wrong because Kevin is skilled and appears to listen. Maybe he became as frustrated by the continuing delays as we did, but for whatever reason, the furniture, while nice, didn't align with our expectations and left us a little disappointed.
