Keepsake Box
Cherry keepsake box made for a couple in NYC. Each panel was personalized for them from the location of the ceremony on a rooftop in NYC, birthdays of each (blanked from view), and wedding day. Box is made from cherry and the recessed carvings are highlighted and accented in black. Shellac was used as a finish and hand rubbed to a satin finish that feels silky smooth. The keepsake box made was about the size of a shoe box to archive small items from their special day. Similar boxes can be made-to-order of any size with the cravings personalized as desired.
