The client requested a high gloss black lacquer style mantel with and integrated center channel speaker box. It was designed with a removable (magnetized) custom speaker screen and inner channels to run and hide wire. Custom pocket brackets were fabricated to create a seamless transition from the mantel to the stone wall. It was fabricated from black high gloss laminate to achieve the black lacquer style.
