Baby Set, Bunnies Or Bears
These special baby gift pieces are numbered limited editions that can be ordered individually or as a 2 or 3-piece set. The baby's first name can be added as a name banner being towed by a small plane in the sky. On the baby bowl the banner will be in the scene on the back. Many families have made it a tradition to give a Laura Wilensky personalized baby mug or set to their newest family members. It is a truly special keepsake and future heirloom. They are molded of high-firing porcelain and the imagery is defined and hand-textured with tools and fabric. Choose either of these bunny or bear scenes. The scenes cannot be different. All colors are painted by hand. Ordered separately, the mug is $50. The bowl is $47 The plate $47. $5 additional for personalization.

Custom hand-sculpted portraits of people and/or pets in porcelain or white clay. They can be fully 3-dimensional figures or scenes in relief.
Working from your photos I can do realistic portraits of dogs, cats, or you. I make each piece by hand. Smaller figures are sculpted in high-fired porcelain, whereas larger pieces are sculpted in low-fired white clay. Each piece goes through 3 firings. All the colors are durable fired glazes (2380F) or overglazes (1300F) .
