Inspired by Alan's daughter's sketches, this chair was created for her as a gift. A pair of the designs were made from Baltic birch machined on a CNC router and painted in white enamel. The whimsical grass and roots fabric seen below on the seat and seat bottom play with the garden trellis and flower pot theme. Rachel's Chair was selected for exhibition in the 2009 Furniture Society Member's Gallery and in the 2009 MODA exhibition "Emerging Voices 09".
