It was a real pleasure working with Jamison. He was very professional and courteous. He helped me shape my project through the design phase and carried out the project as promised. The final product is absolutely magnificent. I would absolutely do business with him again. The reasons for not giving a five star review are, I believe, well founded. Jamison greatly underestimated the time it would take to finish the project, which caused frustration. Estimated time to shipping was 6 weeks but the project carried on to about 3 months. The other frustration is that he did not communicate with the frequency that he said he would. He did not respond to my messages as quickly as I would have liked, and I believe he fell short on his promises to send photos or follow up e-mails. So there were some frustrating moments. He communicated just enough to where I knew my project was moving forward. I can tell he's a busy guy. At the end of the day, my wife and I asked ourselves if we would do the Custommade.com thing again, and if we would do it with Jamison. And I say absolutely yes. Having done one project gives me some trust with him and the process and the work was first rate.

We are really happy with Jamison's both in metal and wood work. We provide a design initially. After a few round of communication, Jamison gives very good feedback, modification and enhanced the design. The island turns out amazing! We love it. During the process, the best thing I found is that Jamison is very easy to worj with and communicate. He first provided us with a computer rendering so that we have a feeling of how the island looks. The island ended up to be exactly look like the rendering. The is very helpful! He is also a very careful and thoughtful person. He communicates very precisely (this makes things very easy) and asks what we want in each details. For example, he will take pictures of the hardware he founds and let us provide feedback. Sometimes, the hardware we wanted is not what he found but he is willing to look for something unique and match our need. I think Jamison is very passionate at what he does, therefore, he cares a lot on the things he made. For me, the island is not only a furniture, it is an art. I am very happy to work with Jamison. We had a very good first custom made experience. Thanks Jamison. We love the island :)

My first experience with Custom Made, what can I say? Originally I posted my project and received several responses. However, what caught my eye with Jamison was his prior work in addition to the detail and depth in the messages he sent me. I could see that it was clear that his attention to detail was a priority. Speaking with Jamison and after some detailed messages back and forth, I am happy with my bed, night stands, and head board. Although there were delays due to other vendors (like the powder coating), everything fit in place and looks great. Jamison made everything easy to assemble and smooth. The wood looks very good and best of all it was made in the US.

We are so pleased with our credenza; it is absolutely beautiful. It is true to the requested size and wood grain. Jamison was incredibly nice and prompt. He offered far more detail than we knew to ask. He provided constant updates with photos. I would most certainly request more furniture from him!
