Part of the Lonna collection this piece is Eucalyptus with Wenge in the Art Deco style,( additional picture is in Curly Maple and Wenge) but it has a contemporary feel as well. There is a single drawer in the apron but is available with 2 drawers. It is a multi-functional pieces that is perfect for a den/office or in the bedroom for the student or yourself. The natural finish is hand rubbed and has a satiny feel to the touch, and it is also available in Curly Maple w/ Wenge or Sepele.

The use of both domestic and exotic woods helps me to enhance the clean lines of my designs. I am influenced by a variety of styles from Shaker and Mission to Art Deco and Art Nouveau, blending them into a more contemporary style.
I have worked with wood for over 30 years, establishing VB Woodworks in 1996.
Along with designing and building custom furniture, I have a few limited productions and semi-custom lines with no two pieces exactly the same.

      Darrin is great! He provided me with great ideas and and possible alternatives in wood. The option I ended up selected looks FABULOUS!
      The packaging for the table is amazing! There was no damage whatsoever to the table -- I don't think there could have been unless the box was crushed! :-)

      Darrin was especially easy to work with, he took his time in answering my questions and always made himself readily available. I chose to work with him based on photographs that were posted and that he sent of previous work and after speaking together I knew that he understood exactly what I was looking for. The craftsmanship of these pieces is beyond what I had expected, and believe me I had high expectations. Darrin created a writing desk with matching night stands out of walnut with contrasting sections done in Curley Maple with hand made drawer pulls. They are beautiful pieces of art that I will enjoy for many years. Thank you, Darrin!
