This project is a solution to an odd, but typical second floor space in an older Victorian home where the roof line prevented the use of conventional bedroom furniture, consequently not being able to utilize the space efficiently. The result of this design gives the impression that these cabinets where always part of the home. Specifically, the use of wainscoting, a material typically found in turn-of-the-century homes. Other features include a mattress height open compartment for the users personal items, hidden from view but easily accessible, a larger cabinet with adjustable shelves for added storage and the use of bifold doors, more convenient for the user while minimizing interference within the bedside area. These units are made from solid poplar and poplar ply; painted using the color chosen by the homeowners and the choice of hardware typical to the era of the home.

Owner/Operator, I work with Homeowners & Interior Designers to create unique furniture that solves a space and function issue as it relates to an interior design. Specialties include reproductions, designing matching furniture to a dicontinued furniture line, built-ins that match styles, profiles and colors already existing in a particular space or room. In addition, the use of aged or carefully salvaged wood, utilizing its fine patina to create an antique look , is available to any style.

For Kleerz-All Blades ProjectKen was great to work with. He understood the project and went the extra mile to clarify points that needed explaining. He was very flexible when I needed to make changes to the design, and he delivered on time. The workmanship on his product was fantastic - superior to much that I've seen from others. Great value for the work, and I look forward to working with him in the future.

For BedOur experience working with Ken was fantastic. He was with us every step of the way. Our home was built in 1850, and we wanted to our built-ins in the bedroom to look as if they had always been part of the house - they came out exactly as we had hoped.
