Started my business in 2007, after someone who knows I enjoy woodworking, asked me to build fireplace mantels for them. I have had interest in woodworking long before this, and has been great to be creating wood products for people who enjoy the rich, warm, look of wood.

    For Fireplace mantle

    Lee did a great job designing a mantle to wrap around an existing brick fireplace. We planned to wrap with a stone product not yet selected. Therefore precise measurements and the various ways of mounting the mantle played as much into the success of the project as did the desired aesthetics. Lee patiently altered the design several times as the rest of the decisions about refacing the fireplace fell into place. The result is terrific and the fit is perfect.
    If you want a great mantle for a difficult situation you cannot do better than working with Leland Franke.

    Working with Lee was a great experience! We were originally going to go with walnut, but after discussing and seeing some of Lee's work with Flame Birch, we switched to it. Lee was in contact regularly, involved us every step of the way, and the result was spectacular! We now have a beautiful one-of-a-kind flame bitch mantel.
