Painted Colonial-Style Corner Cabinet

My clients were looking for a custom corner cabinet to complement their reproduction colonial home. The piece incorporates colonial details but meets the scale of this new home. The finish was hand-brushed on site to mimic the finish such a colonial-era piece would have had. The cabinet features a pair of inset doors on the bottom and one large glass inset door on top. An open shelf provides an easily accessible display or small serving area, while the glass door protects the client's collection. In addition, the piece features a curved back and painted wooden hardware; two other elements that harken back to the colonial era.
