This lighted display case was made for a retail company. They have existing display cases but needed an updated look. After several conversations with the customers I provided a rendering of what the new case would look like. Ambassador Woodcrafts is a full service woodworking shop in Memphis TN. We specialize in making bunk beds but also design/build by request.

Richard Bourland is the sole proprietor and lead craftsman at Ambassador Woodcrafts. Richard started his business as a part-time endeavor but it quickly grew to full time. He is a born and raised Memphian previously who lived in Texas for 10 years to attend college and start his career.

Richard’s background is in Information Technology. However for as long as he can remember, he has enjoyed projects involving wood and power tools'. Before starting his business he spent evenings and weekends building whatever he could and studied construction, carpentry and furniture design. He was introduced and became active in several non-profits pursuing his new trade. To this day, he continues to work with Habitat for Humanity, Service over Self and Advance Memphis.

His craftsmanship training has included: classes taught by Master Woodworkers at The Woodwork Shop, woodworking classes at Memphis College of Art, classes at Old English Furniture Company and professional carpentry apprenticeship training.
