This box was made in the same fashion as would've been done hundreds of years ago, including Snipes bill hinges which are found in these types of boxes from the 16th and 17th century. Would be an ideal Jewelry box for him. Made to order. Pick from Maple, Cherry, Walnut or quartersawn Oak. Please put it in the notes upon checkout. Finished with an Oil Varnish and Wax. All of our furniture is handmade, one of a kind, in our Wood shop right outside Chicago. We use all local American hardwoods. The woods we choose contain beautiful, naturally occurring details and knots, that add to the uniqueness of each piece. Sure to be a conversation piece for any room.
