Georges Braque (Father of Cubist Art) said, "I couldn't portray a women in all her natural loveliness… I haven't the skill. No one has. I must, therefore, create a new sort of beauty, the beauty that appears to me in terms of volume of line, of mass, of weight". . . of color. I combined those 2 ideas and realized that cabinets are just a box to hold our stuff. I took that to heart and designed my Cubist Cabinets, looking for interesting lines and forms within the arrangement of simple boxes. Most importantly, I designed into the empty space - a space to breath - a space for flowers. These cabinets are always custom designed and can be shaped from a simple bar to an entire kitchen. About the Designer~
Ron Corl has been designing and building since he was a baby. "I remember stacking big wooden blocks in kindergarten and trying to understand how far I could push them off-center before they would fall. I've never stopped pushing those blocks as far as I can! My motto is- "If you never build a box around yourself in the first place, you'll never need to think outside of it"!
His pieces don't blend in with your room - they are the anchor point and you design your room around them!
He designed and hand-built a tiny cottage on his 30 acre Ohio tree farm. This proves there can be comfortable living in 500 square feet or less. He Now lives in a small Cape with his artist wife, Susan, and a spoiled cat, Sophi.

We collaborated to modify from a bed he had already created, and his drawings were top notch, allowing me to make decisions and see exactly what i was going to receive before the project was even begun.
