Yes, this is a glider/rocker! I always loved the motion of a glider but never liked the bulky, traditional look of what was on the market. I set out to design a wonderfully comfortable chair with 4 legs and modern, clean lines with a bit of a retro look. After teaming up with a local Amish chair company that is a leader in the industry, we worked for months to get the feel just right. We completely re-worked the idea of the glide mechanism and developed the Roncoil System resulting in the i-Glyde Designer Chair. We even use Memory Foam in the back for extra comfort. It's simply outrageous! The feel is so comfortable that we have to put a warning label on every chair: CAUTION! This chair may cause uncontrollable relaxation! Every chair is custom made by Amish craftsman and upholstered just down the hill at a 2 person Amish Upholstery shop. We have a huge selection of fabrics from funky floral to the highest grade leather and you can send us your own too. I will work with you to get the exact chair that will fit your decor and style. Although the brand has grown too large for Ron to build every piece himself, he is still hands-on with every client project from start to finish and beyond. About the Designer~
Ron Corl has been designing and building since he was a baby. "I remember stacking big wooden blocks in kindergarten and trying to understand how far I could push them off-center before they would fall. I've never stopped pushing those blocks as far as I can! My motto is- "If you never build a box around yourself in the first place, you'll never need to think outside of it"!
His pieces don't blend in with your room - they are the anchor point and you design your room around them!
He designed and hand-built a tiny cottage on his 30 acre Ohio tree farm. This proves there can be comfortable living in 500 square feet or less. He Now lives in a small Cape with his artist wife, Susan, and a spoiled cat, Sophi.

For custom made media storage project5.0Ron was an absolute pleasure to work with!! Although my husband and I had an idea of how we wanted to design our media cabinet, we didn't know what kind of wood we wanted to use. Ron was extremely patient and informative while we were considering our options. Just prior to selecting the type of wood for our cabinet, I became extremely indecisive about making a selection. But he never seemed annoyed and continued to answer all of my questions, never losing his sense of humor. Throughout the construction phase, he provided updates in order to ensure us that the cabinet was built to our exact specifications. In the end, we now have a beautiful media cabinet that looks far better than we had ever imagined and for a reasonable price. Thanks Ron!! We look forward to working with you again….

For Floating bed with floating nightstands5.0Working with Ron was really an incredible experience. I ended up doing 3 separate projects with him and he essentially threw in a fourth item with some fo the leftover wood from one of the other 3. For Upholstered Ottoman5.0I would HIGHLY recommend Ron to anyone wanting a custom piece! The ottoman he crafted was absolutely beautiful and of the highest quality. Ron thought of everything from making the piece stronger (for our 2 year old climber) to matching the brown in the fabric to the brown in the wood. In addition, he was a fantastic communicator, sending me updates and pics of his progress every step of the way. Couldn't be happier!
