Demiluna Designer Desk, Funky Modern Cool
This Demiluna Desk was created for one of my city loft clients and is not for the weak of heart. It is based on a floating crescent moon. The edges of the top are 2 asymmetrical arcs ending in 90* flat ends. The top 'floats' on the file/printer cabinet on one end and is firmly supported on 2 designer cast aluminum twisted legs on the balance. Four smaller arced legs hold the file/printer cabinet off the ground. The entire desk looks like it may simply walk away in the night! The desk pictured has a sliding keyboard/mouse tray, a small pencil drawer, and the printer cabinet. Bottom drawer of this cabinet fits most standard printers and hides them away when not in use (the ugly buggers). Top 3 drawers are for other important office stuff and all have soft close, full extension slides. The finish is Oak stained with Purple Regal Perfection & Birch stained with Washington White Wash. Wild! I can match any color or finish you have in mind - anything! The Demiluna Desk is 100% customized for you and no 2 will be identical. About the Designer~
Ron Corl has been designing and building since he was a baby. "I remember stacking big wooden blocks in kindergarten and trying to understand how far I could push them off-center before they would fall. I've never stopped pushing those blocks as far as I can! My motto is- "If you never build a box around yourself in the first place, you'll never need to think outside of it"!
His pieces don't blend in with your room - they are the anchor point and you design your room around them!
He designed and hand-built a tiny cottage on his 30 acre Ohio tree farm. This proves there can be comfortable living in 500 square feet or less. He Now lives in a small Cape with his artist wife, Susan, and a spoiled cat, Sophi.

Very responsive, attentive and just all around pleasant to deal with (it was obvious that their customer's matter to them). Every detail was discussed (seat size, stain color, wood choice, type of finish on the legs, etc.) and the finished product was exactly as I had envisioned.
