About the Designer~
Ron Corl has been designing and building since he was a baby. "I remember stacking big wooden blocks in kindergarten and trying to understand how far I could push them off-center before they would fall. I've never stopped pushing those blocks as far as I can! My motto is- "If you never build a box around yourself in the first place, you'll never need to think outside of it"!
His pieces don't blend in with your room - they are the anchor point and you design your room around them!
He designed and hand-built a tiny cottage on his 30 acre Ohio tree farm. This proves there can be comfortable living in 500 square feet or less. He Now lives in a small Cape with his artist wife, Susan, and a spoiled cat, Sophi.

Although my husband and I had an idea of how we wanted to design our media cabinet, we didn't know what kind of wood we wanted to use. Ron was extremely patient and informative while we were considering our options. Just prior to selecting the type of wood for our cabinet, I became extremely indecisive about making a selection. But he never seemed annoyed and continued to answer all of my questions, never losing his sense of humor. Throughout the construction phase, he provided updates in order to ensure us that the cabinet was built to our exact specifications. In the end, we now have a beautiful media cabinet that looks far better than we had ever imagined and for a reasonable price. Thanks Ron!! We look forward to working with you again….
