It's finished with a coating that soaks in and makes it resistant to almost everything! Another local Yoder family builds the solid Reclaimed Oak base and bolts everything together with 1/2" All-Thread rods & large washers & nuts. About the Designs~
Ron Corl creates his luxury furniture brand by combining modern, artistic design with the care of the Amish craftsman that hand build every piece. His designs span your lifestyle through all the transitions life throws at you!
Although the brand has grown too large for Ron to build every piece himself, he is still hands-on with every client project from start to finish and beyond. He personally makes sure the same quality and care go into every piece, whether it's a pet bed for your Fluffy, or cabinets for one of the best luxury hotels around the world. About the Designer~
Ron Corl has been designing and building since he was a baby. "I remember stacking big wooden blocks in kindergarten and trying to understand how far I could push them off-center before they would fall. I've never stopped pushing those blocks as far as I can! My motto is- "If you never build a box around yourself in the first place, you'll never need to think outside of it"!
His pieces don't blend in with your room - they are the anchor point and you design your room around them!
He designed and hand-built a tiny cottage on his 30 acre Ohio tree farm. This proves there can be comfortable living in 500 square feet or less. He Now lives in a small Cape with his artist wife, Susan, and a spoiled cat, Sophi.

The only issue I had was with the delivery company, which Ron did all that he could to help resolve, and which did eventually get worked out.

For Gothic Bed5.0What an absolute pleasure Ron was to work with.
We collaborated to modify from a bed he had already created, and his drawings were top notch, allowing me to make decisions and see exactly what i was going to receive before the project was even begun.
While it was in process, he gave me regular updates, and he stayed under budget (!).
Delivery was so smooth I was astonished, and the quality of the bed I received is completely incredible. Not only would I recommend him to anyone, I would go back to him for any custom furniture project!
