I created this replica of Carrie's vanity, after her apartment remodel in Sex and the City - the Movie, at the request of one my great NYC clients. We Did change the handles to Solid Glass knobs, but I am happy to change them out for you upon request. The light strips are dimable LED's with a neutral color for great makeup in any lighting from theater seats to theater stage. - Hollywood Glam, Fully Mirrored Vanity - 45" long x 16 1/2" deep x 29" tall - 30" tall half round, folding sides, mirror - 9 Solid Maple, Dovetailed Drawers - Undermount, hidden, soft close Drawer slides - All exposed wood stained and finished - Fully Mirrored on Baltic Birch case. - Felt lined top drawers This is a Luxury project for none but the most discerning client. Every piece of glass has hand polished edges for safety. Every drawer safely closes on its own so even if you are having a lovers' spat ~ you cannot slam and shatter a drawer front. The lighting is remote controlled for dimly lit, romantic bedroom evenings. Add some Hollywood Glam to your bedroom and see what might happen. About the Designer~
Ron Corl has been designing and building since he was a baby. "I remember stacking big wooden blocks in kindergarten and trying to understand how far I could push them off-center before they would fall. I've never stopped pushing those blocks as far as I can! My motto is- "If you never build a box around yourself in the first place, you'll never need to think outside of it"!
His pieces don't blend in with your room - they are the anchor point and you design your room around them!
He designed and hand-built a tiny cottage on his 30 acre Ohio tree farm. This proves there can be comfortable living in 500 square feet or less. He Now lives in a small Cape with his artist wife, Susan, and a spoiled cat, Sophi.
