Although the brand has grown too large for Ron to build every piece himself, he is still hands-on with every client project from start to finish and beyond. About the Designer~
Ron Corl has been designing and building since he was a baby. "I remember stacking big wooden blocks in kindergarten and trying to understand how far I could push them off-center before they would fall. I've never stopped pushing those blocks as far as I can! My motto is- "If you never build a box around yourself in the first place, you'll never need to think outside of it"!
His pieces don't blend in with your room - they are the anchor point and you design your room around them!
He designed and hand-built a tiny cottage on his 30 acre Ohio tree farm. This proves there can be comfortable living in 500 square feet or less. He Now lives in a small Cape with his artist wife, Susan, and a spoiled cat, Sophi.

For Gothic Headboard5.0The bed is outstanding! It is exactly what we dreamed of and the size we wanted. We were so lucky to have Ron to guide us through the design, wood choice and finish. We had no prior experience and he showed tremendous patience and enthusiasm for this project. Since we live 2,000 miles away the communication was critical. I have no less than 30 e-mails from him and received 6 finish options in the mail. Throughout the process he made sure the design was our vision, although he had LOTS of options. The bed was constructed by Amish woodworkers and the craftsmanship is amazing. Simply couldn't have had a better experience.

Ron thought of everything from making the piece stronger (for our 2 year old climber) to matching the brown in the fabric to the brown in the wood. In addition, he was a fantastic communicator, sending me updates and pics of his progress every step of the way. Couldn't be happier!
