Crossover Natural Edge End Table
This Crossover End Table is classy and timeless but also has that rugged touch at the same time. The gracefully curved 3/8" thick Raw Steel legs holds up nearly 2" thick, Solid Native Walnut Slabs that were joined to average 20" wide. We cut the actual shape from the natural growth of the tree trunk on the sides to give a bit of a wild flair to this otherwise civilized table. It also has a single drawer, with hidden slides that close on their own with just a gentle push. This table works with any design style from Cottage to City Modern and even fits in well with antiques. About the Designer~
Ron Corl has been designing and building since he was a baby. "I remember stacking big wooden blocks in kindergarten and trying to understand how far I could push them off-center before they would fall. I've never stopped pushing those blocks as far as I can! My motto is- "If you never build a box around yourself in the first place, you'll never need to think outside of it"!
His pieces don't blend in with your room - they are the anchor point and you design your room around them!
He designed and hand-built a tiny cottage on his 30 acre Ohio tree farm. This proves there can be comfortable living in 500 square feet or less. He Now lives in a small Cape with his artist wife, Susan, and a spoiled cat, Sophi.
