Live edged Cypress Slab Top Table Antique Cast Iron Base, This top is one of two slabs I've been able to locate, both were cut from an old Tide Water Cypress stump, The original tree had been harvested years ago, the young man I got this from thought his Grandfather told him it may have been a Cypress knee, and not the tree trunk it was cut from, it is approximately 56" long 36" wide and 4" thick at its thickest part, It will be show room ready in about 3-4 days, $900.00 This slab has a taper to it, one side is about 3" thick the other 4", Due to irregular cut on bottom, which I have left rough sawn, We had to mortise one arm of the pedestal into the slab and cut wedges to go on top of the other two to make it level. The base is from an antique Ice Cream Parlor table heavy ornate cast iron, I had the riser and arms fabricated, I have just started a hand rubbed finish, this is still a work in progress still applying a Hand rubbed finish, The other table has been sold and enjoying its new home, We offer free local pickup or you can arrange your own shipping, I can recommend local moving company that I work with for shipping, My zip code is 70454 and we are a commercial Business
