I made this as an anniversary present from a husband to his wife. He wanted to incorporate some live edged boards in the piece, but he didn't want it to look too rustic. The elm boards were left over from a project I had done years earlier and they happened to have the perfect shape for the head and footboard panels. I enclosed them with a more contemporary rectilinear walnut frame to offset the live edged elm.

For Birdseye Maple side table topThis project came about kind of randomly by doing a search for a specific type of wood. Once I found Corwin and saw the work he did, I was interested. His work is beautiful, he communicated often, and was easy to work with. The product arrived quickly and packaged well. We love it! So glad we could work with Corwin!
