Coffee Table
I was asked by a friend to design a table for his parents 50th anniversary. They had purchased this slab of wood in a rough sawn state 30 years ealier at a yard sale. They had carried it with them through the years, never quite sure what to make out of it. They brought the wood to me and I sketched a few ideas for them. After a couple of design tweaks, this is what we ended up with. This is one of my favorite pieces, as much as who it was for, as for the piece itself. It was an honor for me to create it for them.
