Box was custom sized to fit the Customers old Family Bible and allow space for hands to pick up the Bible. It is 14-1/2" Long x 13-1/2" Wide x 5-1/4" High. The Top was Hinged so that it open toward the Top for ease of removing Book. Materials used were 5/8" Thick African Mahogany , Solid Brass Hinges (90 degree stop), Brown Felt (for interior bottom), UV Glass and Semi-gloss Polyurethane for the finish. All corners were mitered then had splines inserted for strength and looks. There are soft rubber pads on each bottom corner to keep the Box from scratching the surface it is placed on as well as to keep the Box from sliding around.

We have been in business since 1974. We produce Handcrafted Furniture, Cabinetry and Wooden Boxes from Domestic and Exotic wood and as well as material salvaged from Old Buildings. Our goal is to produce a product to the customers requirments and expectations and to deliver it in a timely manner.

All items are Custom made to customers requirements (i.e.: - Size, Wood Species, Interior configuration).

I have also operated a small Custom Remodeling business, (Colonial Building and Remodeling - PA Registration # 006064), since 1974 and perform all kinds of work from fixing a door problem to Constructing and Finishing an entire Addition. Capable of performing Rough and Finish Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall (Installation and Finishing), Painting, Cabinetry Construction and Installation, Tile/Slate Installation, Hardwood and Laminate Floor Installation and Finish Trim Work. Have performed Restoration work on a 105 year old Adirondack Lodge on Lake George, NY. , a 100 yr old house in Valatie NY, and a 250 yr old stone manor house in the Lebanon PA. area. Willing to travel to perform work and install my items.
