Carpathian Elm Burl Veneered Box
Box is 7" Long x 6-3/8" Wide x 4" High and was constructed from 1/2" thick solid Poplar and then had Carpathian Elm Burl Veneer applied to the sides. The Top is Solid 3/4" thick Black Walnut with the edges routed for ease of lifting. Top sits slight inside the case on a recessed lip for a tight seal. Case corners were mitered then strengthed with cross splines. The interior bottom has a removable Red Felt liner. Box was sealed with two coats of semi-gloss Polyurethene then a coat of clear furniture wax was applied. Bottom corners of box have a small rubber bumper applied to keep the box from scratching or sliding on the surface it is placed on.

We have been in business since 1974. We produce Handcrafted Furniture, Cabinetry and Wooden Boxes from Domestic and Exotic wood and as well as material salvaged from Old Buildings. Our goal is to produce a product to the customers requirments and expectations and to deliver it in a timely manner.
All items are Custom made to customers requirements (i.e.: - Size, Wood Species, Interior configuration).
I have also operated a small Custom Remodeling business, (Colonial Building and Remodeling - PA Registration # 006064), since 1974 and perform all kinds of work from fixing a door problem to Constructing and Finishing an entire Addition. Capable of performing Rough and Finish Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall (Installation and Finishing), Painting, Cabinetry Construction and Installation, Tile/Slate Installation, Hardwood and Laminate Floor Installation and Finish Trim Work. Have performed Restoration work on a 105 year old Adirondack Lodge on Lake George, NY. , a 100 yr old house in Valatie NY, and a 250 yr old stone manor house in the Lebanon PA. area. Willing to travel to perform work and install my items.
