The Prototype Box was constructed from 1/2" thick Pine and was designed to hold Tobacco products. Corners were mitered and then had cross Splines installed to help secure the corners. All edges have a 3/16" Radius. Box is 16" Long x 10" Wide x 4" High. Lid is hinged with 90 degree stop, surface mount, hinges and has a Mortised Key Lock. The Lid fits over the bottom section with a half lap joint. Interior is set up to hold four (4) angled jars for tobacco products, a tobacco grinder, spoon (mounted on Lid w a Rare Earth Magnet) and divided spaces for papers and other related products. The exterior of the box was stained with Minwax Dark Walnut. This is a PROTOTYPE BOX for a Customer.

We have been in business since 1974. We produce Handcrafted Furniture, Cabinetry and Wooden Boxes from Domestic and Exotic wood and as well as material salvaged from Old Buildings. Our goal is to produce a product to the customers requirments and expectations and to deliver it in a timely manner.

All items are Custom made to customers requirements (i.e.: - Size, Wood Species, Interior configuration).

I have also operated a small Custom Remodeling business, (Colonial Building and Remodeling - PA Registration # 006064), since 1974 and perform all kinds of work from fixing a door problem to Constructing and Finishing an entire Addition. Capable of performing Rough and Finish Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall (Installation and Finishing), Painting, Cabinetry Construction and Installation, Tile/Slate Installation, Hardwood and Laminate Floor Installation and Finish Trim Work. Have performed Restoration work on a 105 year old Adirondack Lodge on Lake George, NY. , a 100 yr old house in Valatie NY, and a 250 yr old stone manor house in the Lebanon PA. area. Willing to travel to perform work and install my items.
