Storage Box For Chess Set
Box was designed and Fabricated to match a previously Fabricated Custom Chess Board. The Main Box is 15-3/8" Long x 9-3/4" Wide x 5-3/4" High and was constructed from 3/8" thick Maple with 1/16" thick x 3/8" wide Walnut Edge Banding. The two (2) Removable Storage Trays were constructed from 1/4" Thick Maple and are 14-1/4" Long x 8-3/8" Wide x 2-1/4" Deep and have Walnut Splines on the Mitered Corners. The Top is 1/2" Walnut with alternating 1/2" Wide Maple Strips. Bottom of Main Case as well as the Bottoms of the Two Trays have a Black Felt applied and the Interior Bottom of each Tray as well as the Ends of each compartment have a Dark Green Felt applied. Top was Router Engraved with the Customers name which was then infilled with a Robins Egg Blue paint. Finish on all parts is Four Coats of hand rubbed "TUNG OIL"

We have been in business since 1974. We produce Handcrafted Furniture, Cabinetry and Wooden Boxes from Domestic and Exotic wood and as well as material salvaged from Old Buildings. Our goal is to produce a product to the customers requirments and expectations and to deliver it in a timely manner.
All items are Custom made to customers requirements (i.e.: - Size, Wood Species, Interior configuration).
I have also operated a small Custom Remodeling business, (Colonial Building and Remodeling - PA Registration # 006064), since 1974 and perform all kinds of work from fixing a door problem to Constructing and Finishing an entire Addition. Capable of performing Rough and Finish Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall (Installation and Finishing), Painting, Cabinetry Construction and Installation, Tile/Slate Installation, Hardwood and Laminate Floor Installation and Finish Trim Work. Have performed Restoration work on a 105 year old Adirondack Lodge on Lake George, NY. , a 100 yr old house in Valatie NY, and a 250 yr old stone manor house in the Lebanon PA. area. Willing to travel to perform work and install my items.
