Quartersawn Oak Armoire
Armoire is constructed from Solid Quartersawn OAK and is 96" High x 26" Deep x 44" Wide. Bottom has two 10" High Drawers (mounted on Soft Clos, Full Extension Slides). Top has Two Shaker Style Doors (mounted on Soft Close, Three Way Adjustable, European Hinges) Customer Supplied Door & Drawer Pull Hardware. Area behind Doors has a Clothes Hanging Rod and an Adjustable Shelf. Finish is Three Coats of Hand Rubbed TUNG OIL. Side Panels have decorative Butterfly Keys installed.

We have been in business since 1974. We produce Handcrafted Furniture, Cabinetry and Wooden Boxes from Domestic and Exotic wood and as well as material salvaged from Old Buildings. Our goal is to produce a product to the customers requirments and expectations and to deliver it in a timely manner.
All items are Custom made to customers requirements (i.e.: - Size, Wood Species, Interior configuration).
I have also operated a small Custom Remodeling business, (Colonial Building and Remodeling - PA Registration # 006064), since 1974 and perform all kinds of work from fixing a door problem to Constructing and Finishing an entire Addition. Capable of performing Rough and Finish Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall (Installation and Finishing), Painting, Cabinetry Construction and Installation, Tile/Slate Installation, Hardwood and Laminate Floor Installation and Finish Trim Work. Have performed Restoration work on a 105 year old Adirondack Lodge on Lake George, NY. , a 100 yr old house in Valatie NY, and a 250 yr old stone manor house in the Lebanon PA. area. Willing to travel to perform work and install my items.

May 16, 2015Steve made exactly the doors I was expecting and completed the project in the timeframe he quoted. He delivered the doors himself and did so on the first of several possible delivery dates I provided. Throughout the process he communicated in a very timely fashion through the website and provided pictures of the finished product before arranging delivery. This was my first custom project through custommade.com and I must admit I was hesitant. When it comes to additions to my home I very much like to approve materials in advance but this project went so smoothly, and the product is so excellent that I'll definitely try it again. (But I'll still be nervous ;-) I will definitely tap Steve again for any future carpentry projects,

Jun 14, 2014I wanted to wait until a few months after i got this desk to review it. It's always better once you have a product for a bit to see how it works, fits, etc. This is by far the most amazing piece of furniture I have ever owned. I specifically wanted an unusual size in height and width and the maker totally came through. He was incredibly communicative the whole way through and the installation (desk would not fit through the door fully assembled) was flawless. He even walked me through taking it apart when we have to move. Simple amazing and I am INCREDIBLY happy with this desk!
