Curved Walnut Veneered Base For 60" Diameter Game Table

Base was constructed by making a Curved Frame, then applying a bendable Plywood to the Frame. Flat Cut WALNUT Veneer was then applied over the Plywood. Veneer was stained with MINWAX Special Walnut stain. Top MAPLE TRIM is 1/2" Thick by 2" Wide. Bottom MAPLE Trim is 1/2" Thick by 3-1/2" Wide. MAPLE was left natural for contrast. Finish is Four Coats of Semi Gloss Polyurethane. TOP will be a 60" Diameter Drop Leaf (42" Square center section with 9" Leaves). A 20" Square Removable CHESS / Checker Board will be inserted in the Center of the Top. Reverse side of Board will be Maple Veneer so when they use it as a Dining Table they can flip the center over to show the Maple insert.

We have been in business since 1974. We produce Handcrafted Furniture, Cabinetry and Wooden Boxes from Domestic and Exotic wood and as well as material salvaged from Old Buildings. Our goal is to produce a product to the customers requirments and expectations and to deliver it in a timely manner.

All items are Custom made to customers requirements (i.e.: - Size, Wood Species, Interior configuration).

I have also operated a small Custom Remodeling business, (Colonial Building and Remodeling - PA Registration # 006064), since 1974 and perform all kinds of work from fixing a door problem to Constructing and Finishing an entire Addition. Capable of performing Rough and Finish Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Drywall (Installation and Finishing), Painting, Cabinetry Construction and Installation, Tile/Slate Installation, Hardwood and Laminate Floor Installation and Finish Trim Work. Have performed Restoration work on a 105 year old Adirondack Lodge on Lake George, NY. , a 100 yr old house in Valatie NY, and a 250 yr old stone manor house in the Lebanon PA. area. Willing to travel to perform work and install my items.
