Floating Cherry Table

I did a lot of shopping around before selecting Ray to make a custom desk for me. I could not be happier with the process or the desk that he delivered this afternoon. I felt like the project was a collaborative venture. Ray was a good listener and he made suggestions based on what I told him I liked. As we got further into the process, I asked him to add whatever touches he wanted. He did not disappoint. Ray is an artist and wood is his medium. I hope to have him make additional pieces for me in the future.

Ray Riddell of White Dove Woodworking was commissioned by my wife Isabel and me to make a coffee table. What we received was a beautiful piece of art that also happens to be a coffee table. Ray worked with us on a design; he turned our basic concept into something special. He listened to us and delivered two designs for us to choose from. Ray stayed in constant communication throughout the project and hit his deadlines. Ray is an artist who works with wood as his medium. His workmanship is superb and his pride in his work shines through. You can be sure that we will use Ray again. We can't thank him enough for turning our ideas into reality.

Working with Mr. Riddell was an absolute delight. I sort of knew what I wanted in this case, but I didn't know what was possible. Mr. R spoke with me multiple times , making suggestions, sending drawings and revisions, directing me to websites for possible alternatives, and talking me through the pros and cons of each choice. I was pretty sure the finished product would be beautiful; what I didn't know was that it would be a stunning work of art. His choice of materials blend so beautifully with one another, the detailing is so fine that the harmony of the whole is breath taking. Visitors seeing the pieces displayed on the case audibly gasp in delight. He has produced something that will give my family pleasure for generations to come. And the price was very reasonable, even when extra veneers increased the cost slightly. I cannot recommend him highly enough. A ten!
