Greene & Greene Style End Table

$775+
5.0(2 reviews)

This table was inspired by a Greene & Greene design. The main difference is that my cloud lift pattern is more sinuous than the pattern used by the Greene brothers. Like all Greene & Greene furniture, the breadboard ends are proud of the table and chamfered ebony pegs are used to hide joinery. The finish will hold up well to sweating cold glasses. It is Waterlox Original sealer/finish. Waterlox is a tung oil finish that is very water resistant. It's hand applied with a clean lint-free rag and natural badger bristle brush. I use varying grades of Micromesh to smooth out the finish after a few coats. I use quite a few light coats (losing track of just how many most times). Dimensions: 19" wide x 24" long x 23" high Base is 16 1/2" wide x 19 1/2" long As seen at the Providence, RI Fine Furnishings show.

I hired Paul Norman of SherpaDog Renovations to rebuild a large enclosed front porch which had been destroyed by carpenter ants! I was pleased by the variety of cost effective redesign options Paul offered. In the end I chose to add some ornament to my Victorian home. He replaced the exterior plain shingles with scalloped ones, designed a diamond pattern (instead of the common basket weave) for the exterior skirt of the porch, added wainscoting under the interior windows, built a beautiful wooden ceiling and installed casement windows. I was thrilled with the results. Paul's attention to detail and fine carpentry skills resulted in a porch much admired by my neighbors and friends. I recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, conscientious and creative carpenter. I would definitely hire him again.

Very good. No problems, builder took time to ask questions and provide suggested design elements.
