Custom Walnut Hutch
This walnut hutch was custom made to function as a beautiful piece of furniture for a kitchen and to display the clients pottery and glassware. There are hidden pull-out trays behind the bottom drawers. There are mortice-and-tenon glass doors above and frame and panel solid wood doors below. The pyramid shaped pulls and the hand-rubbed tung oil finish invite you to feel it. The hidden pull-out drawers and adjustable shelves combine to make a space-saving thing of beauty.

Blue Hill Cabinet & Woodwork
Blue Hill Cabinet creates and builds custom, affordable, fine furniture, kitchens, staircases, and built-in cabinetry. We often use solid wood and traditional joinery methods and designed with subtle hand-made details in a simple accord with the entirety of the piece.
Our custom cabinetry appears fundamentally simple-- using the grain of the wood as the adorning feature, however on closer inspection the pieces usually have details that are sensory delights: enjoyable to look at and inviting to touch and feel.
We use locally sourced material when available and primarily plantation grown domestic hardwoods, and all sheet goods are of the highest grade.
We have worked on many historic homes and have recreated many different historic moldings, trim work, staircase parts, etc.
Clients can expect versatility and impeccable craftsmanship in addition to clear and thoughtful communication, whether designing from scratch or using an existing plan.
