This "Rippled Petals" bowl illustrates the depth and interesting effects that can be achieved in glass fusing. Note the pebbly effect, some of which can be seen through cut glass pieces, and the interaction among the larger pieces of ground glass, called frit. To create this one-of-a-kind bowl, Mary Ann assembled various sizes of frit and cut glass on a 10.75" diameter clear glass disc. Next we placed the assembly in a kiln and through carefully controlled heating to about 1500 degrees F, melted the glass together. Control of glass cool-down and restabilization is equally important. After the newly fused glass was fully cooled and cleaned, we returned it to the kiln and heated it enough for the softened glass to slump into a mold. The second heat process also produced an unusual rippled effect on the top surface of the bowl, a nice complement to the petal shapes in the design but one that is not easily reproducible. This colorful bowl is about 1.75" deep, a perfect size for serving vegetables or fruit or for one diner's pasta. It is but one example of fused dishes that we produce, all as functional as they are beautiful.

We are a husband-wife team who design and create stained glass windows, artful stained glass objects, and functional fused glass for homes, businesses, and public spaces. For more than thirty-five years we have been creating windows, glass panels, and light fixtures tailored to specific sites. Now we also offer kiln-formed glass. We love working with mouth-blown and handmade glass because of its rich beauty, and our delight in the glass is shown through innovative design and excellent fabrication in lead and copper foil techniques as well as fusing and slumping.
Whether you desire an architectural installation, accessories like a lamp or light vessel, a piece of stained glass art for your personal collection, colorful tableware, or a very special gift, we can create something original. Client needs and interests are central to our design and fabrication process. While it is advantageous to discuss a window project before new construction, we also fabricate to fit existing windows.

For Custom Made Chandelier
Excellent! They came to my house to see the room, were right on time, sent me samples of the stained glass and pictures of their design, and delivered and hung the lamp themselves... all for a reasonable price! They were very nice also.
