Stained Glass Kitchen Window
Before stained glass these Maryland homeowners had a beautiful kitchen and dining room but the same ugly view from both. To obscure the view we created coordinated stained glass panels to hang in both windows, using hand-poured opalescent glass and textured mouth-blown transparent glass. Zinc frames provided structural stability and made the windows easy to remove and transport to the couple's retirement home when they chose to move. Designing and choosing glass colors for this project was great fun as the homeowners have eclectic tastes and use color boldly. The finished pair of windows were a wonderful addition to the elegant rooms. And they greatly improved the windows' view!

We are a husband-wife team who design and create stained glass windows, artful stained glass objects, and functional fused glass for homes, businesses, and public spaces. For more than thirty-five years we have been creating windows, glass panels, and light fixtures tailored to specific sites. Now we also offer kiln-formed glass. We love working with mouth-blown and handmade glass because of its rich beauty, and our delight in the glass is shown through innovative design and excellent fabrication in lead and copper foil techniques as well as fusing and slumping.
Whether you desire an architectural installation, accessories like a lamp or light vessel, a piece of stained glass art for your personal collection, colorful tableware, or a very special gift, we can create something original. Client needs and interests are central to our design and fabrication process. While it is advantageous to discuss a window project before new construction, we also fabricate to fit existing windows.

Excellent! They came to my house to see the room, were right on time, sent me samples of the stained glass and pictures of their design, and delivered and hung the lamp themselves... all for a reasonable price! They were very nice also.
