Landscape Mosaic
This 6'x10' landscape mosaic was commissioned by St. Francis Hospital in NY, and now hangs as part of their permanent collection in the Patio Cafe. This, or any variation of a landscape mural can be recreated.

Anne Oshman Mosaics
Although mosaic is often used as a formal decorative attribute of interior and exterior architecture, it also undoubtedly documents the culture that produces it. I use this ancient medium to capture 21st century reflections of ourselves. Using 3/8" micro mosaic tile, marble and/or glass, these pieces express the relationships between people and/or their surroundings. Details that would otherwise go unnoticed are highlighted.
A newer evolution of my work is shifting toward the sculptural, both real and organic; an interesting extraction from materials that are solid and impervious.
All work is designed and fabricated by me in my studio. Each piece is one of a kind.
I welcome the collaborative process to create specific mosaic designs for both residential and commercial sites.
