Exotic Wood Jewelry Box, Canary & Purpleheart

This piece was created for a high graduation. Her parents contacted me through my website. The parents had no design or wood/color choices when they first contacted me. Her mother told me her favorite colors were purple, red, and blue. She also said that she loved anything tropical and leaned toward art deco style. I was able to find straight-grained, figured Canary Wood-from the Yucatan coast that expressed the blues, reds, gold and deep browns-African Purpleheart took care of the rest.
