Red Gum Black Laquered Desk
Client brought an old amoure she had purchased and requested that we take it apart and use the curved doors and sides to make the back and sides for the new desk she wanted in her home office. It was made from Red gum veneer with many small pieces inlayed to make matching book-matches through out the veneer. Very interesting how they must have constructed in the early 1900's.
