5-5-5 Brittle Star - Glass Fusing Artwork
This glass fused artwork is based on the number 5. A five sided pentagon design surrounds a 5 armed brittle star which separates 5 other stars. Black and silver iridescent layers create the brittle star's textural surface. The smaller stars float fluidly amid an aqua blue sea.

Glass Trans-Fusing
My contemporary nature inspired artworks are created with multiple layers of fused glass which are kiln fired for a textural surface.
The design’s edges flow beyond rigid straight lines with elements moving into the wall space.
The use of powdered glass and voids add depth and drama.
Some compositions can have more than one panel and variations of depth raising the design from 1/2" to 3" from the wall's surface.
