Beisa Oryx - Glass Fusing Artwork
A Beisa Oryx stands amid a shadow herd in a grassy area under a bright blue sky. Fiber paper create the recessed horns of additional antelope. Multiple layers of clear sheet glass are filled with varying glass chips and powders resulting in a deeper background of colors.

My contemporary nature inspired artworks are created with multiple layers of fused glass which are kiln fired for a textural surface.
The design’s edges flow beyond rigid straight lines with elements moving into the wall space.
The use of powdered glass and voids add depth and drama.
Some compositions can have more than one panel and variations of depth raising the design from 1/2" to 3" from the wall's surface.

For I am very interested in your butterfly pendants and would like to talk with you about making one or more. I am interested in the smaller size (2 1/4" x 1") I like the lighter blues and purples as background with the dichroic and black wing line details.5.0The butterfly pendant Michelle made for me is lovely!!
