Brushed - Glass Fusing Artwork
With an iridescent belly the roughened brushed textures and line work in grays and black become the basic bird outline. Voids below the layers of clear, pale blue glass, and green powders add depth, bringing the bird into the foreground.

My contemporary nature inspired artworks are created with multiple layers of fused glass which are kiln fired for a textural surface.
The design’s edges flow beyond rigid straight lines with elements moving into the wall space.
The use of powdered glass and voids add depth and drama.
Some compositions can have more than one panel and variations of depth raising the design from 1/2" to 3" from the wall's surface.
