Deep Cherry Sky- Glass Fused Artwork
Cherry Blossoms bloom within a deep blue speckled sky. A single branch with flowers rises ¼" from the textural matte surface of a background branch. Fusing glass chips and powders from the main limb with layers of sheet glass form the oval exterior shape.

My contemporary nature inspired artworks are created with multiple layers of fused glass which are kiln fired for a textural surface.
The design’s edges flow beyond rigid straight lines with elements moving into the wall space.
The use of powdered glass and voids add depth and drama.
Some compositions can have more than one panel and variations of depth raising the design from 1/2" to 3" from the wall's surface.
