A raised cherry branch with blossoms crosses over a fading background branch. Within the green textural surface recessed circles mirror the circular flower petals and the exterior artwork's contours. Glass Trans-Fusing
My contemporary nature inspired artworks are created with multiple layers of fused glass which are kiln fired for a textural surface.
The design’s edges flow beyond rigid straight lines with elements moving into the wall space.
The use of powdered glass and voids add depth and drama.
Some compositions can have more than one panel and variations of depth raising the design from 1/2" to 3" from the wall's surface.
